Kelvin Launches New Training Initiative

Kelvin KBB is delighted to announce the launch of The Kelvin Academy to transform the approach to training and development throughout the business.  Kelvin will join world leading organisations including Audi, Coca-Cola, and Deloitte in utilising a mobile learning platform, EdApp, to support this programme.

Our ultimate goal is to have an industry leading system for training, learning and the development for our people.  We will split this into three categories:

Life at Kelvin – covering the onboarding and career journey of our team.

Safety at Kelvin – covering all aspects of Health & Safety training and our Target Zero commitment.

Home Grown – cover all aspects of role specific training and development

The introduction of EdApp will mark the launch of The Kelvin Academy and the start of the roll-out across Kelvin. The online training platform will host a collection of interactive, mobile and desktop friendly, training materials for team members to utilise.

Andreas van Zyl, Kelvin Field Service Lead, commented: “The launch of the Kelvin Academy highlights our commitment to creating a safe and efficient working environment for our team and customers. The first stage of the programme, EdApp, has been in development for some time and I’m delighted to see the efforts of the team come to fruition. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this programme.”
